On October 4, 2024, the medicinal cuisine cooking competition featured six teams from the San Francisco Bay Area, who had won the preliminary contests, competing against six teams from six regions in the Greater Bay Area of China, showcasing a high level of medicinal cuisine culinary skills for this year.
Hansheng Liquor specially invited Mr. Zhang Jianwen to serve as a judge in the competition, providing comprehensive scores based on various dimensions such as ingredient selection, cooking techniques, flavor pairing, and nutritional balance.
At the Sino-US Dual Bay Area Medicinal Cuisine Cooking Competition Award Ceremony & Thousand-People Medicinal Cuisine Tasting Dinner held on October 5, 2024, nearly a thousand lovers of medicinal cuisine from both the Sino-US Dual Bay Areas attended the event. In the rich practice of traditional Chinese medicine, wine plays an indispensable role. It is often used for soaking or decocting medicinal herbs to enhance their efficacy, a traditional method that has been documented in ancient literature.
